Happy Thanksgiving!

I wanted to wish you all a happy and healthy Thanksgiving! We’re taking a couple days off, but I’ll be back with a new video before you can say, “Man, I can’t believe I ate that much turkey.” Enjoy your holiday!

Happy Thanksgiving! Chef John.
Here in Canada we already had our Thanksgiving, but I still want to take this opportunity to thank you for giving us great cooking videos and blog. They are not only great learning tools for cooking, but also very entertaining....I start watching your videos about 3 years ago during my chemo treatment. Your videos helped me pass lots of difficult time (depression, lack of appetite....doctors should prescribe your channel to counter the side effects!!!).
Now my kids and I often watch your video in bed to decide what's for dinner the day after.
So thank you for your great work!

Chef John, what a delight you are. I'll listen to your video even if I'm not interested in the recipe! I love how your voice lilts up at the end of sentences. Did you use to be a Valley Girl? :-) My Photoshop skills are also legendary. What a coincidence we both have that in common!

Chef John you have done it again! This turned out perfect. My wife and I prepared this as a test and I tell you we will repeat it for our daughter on Sunday. Many Thanks.

Thank you! I have to say that I tried your maple with walnuts cranberry sauce and the pickiest eater that swears by her plain old can of cranberry sauce had to try it because it smelled amazing and she loved it! You are an amazing chef. Every recipe I have tried from your site has been more than incredible. You have a wonderful gift. God bless you and your team that makes this site possible.

The video for turkey & gravy was excellent! I've been cooking turkeys for 30 years and never have they been so flavorful, juicy, tender & delicious as the one I cooked yesterday, thanks to your recipe.

Chef, as an Italian living in Britain, I made my girlfriend a joke Thanksgiving dinner using your technique for pan-fried skin-on chicken breast. Served with gravy and cranberry sauce, it was AMAZING! Plus, I still haven't thanked you for the pumpkin pie which I made at Halloween. Incredible, especially the pastry. Wow.
